ABOUT US

“LIFE IS SIMPLY BETTER WHEN WE LEISURELY GRAZE ON WONDERFUL FOODS WITH OUR FAVORITE PEOPLE.”
- LANE TUNSTALL

 The Short Story:

Utilizing her knack for design to create stunning custom grazing tables and charcuterie boards, Board + Brie founder, Lane Tunstall, caters to client’s needs turning every occasion into a memorable experience. From honeycomb to eucalyptus, all boards are created with those tiny, noticeable touches going beyond the typical charcuterie meats, artisan cheeses, seasonal fruits and decor for your gathering. Lane’s passion for food and friendships is reflected in the thoughtful preparation that goes into every design whether it’s for a husband’s last minute anniversary gift, a wedding with 300 guests, a corporate function or a simple date night in.

Lane resides in Argyle, Texas with her husband, three boys, and their Labrador Retriever, Gabby.

The Long Story:

It all started on a HOT Texas Fall day in September 2019 when Lane's youngest child went to kinder and she was trying to figure out what to do with her life after having been a stay at home Mom for 5 years.  She decided to make some charcuterie boards and a business facebook page to sell them on for the Holiday season as a side hustle.

Luckily some amazing people who are still customers almost 3 years later bought them and started Lane on a trajectory to having a full fledged business. She saw a picture of a grazing table on Pinterest a few weeks in, and had her photographer friend, Ann Starkweather over 2 days later to take pictures of a grazing table she set up in her dining room. That transpired into catering wedding grazing tables and teaching DIY charcuterie board classes in late 2019.

Lane quickly realized she couldn't do all this from her kitchen, so she rented space from a local restaurant then opened her storefront in Roanoke in 2020. Yes, 2020.  Flash forward to 2022, Board + Brie is a hardworking team of some amazing women and will be moving to a bigger space down the street in Roanoke September 1. They can't wait to host bigger classes, events, and have ALL the fun with food.
